Why FinToolkit exists
Financial clarity, without the noise.
Most financial calculators online are built to sell you something — a loan, a mutual fund, an insurance policy. FinToolkit isn't. It exists to answer one question clearly: what do these numbers actually mean for me?
What we believe
- See the logic. Every calculator shows the formula behind the answer and notes where it's approximate — no black boxes.
- Your numbers stay yours. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is stored, logged or sent to a server.
- Built for India. Rupee formatting, Indian tax slabs, PPF/EPF/NPS/SSY rules, and the loan and investment products people here actually use.
A note on accuracy
Rates and tax slabs are kept current as of FY 2025-26 (AY 2026-27), but banks, mutual funds and the government revise numbers often. Treat every result as a well-informed estimate, not a quote — always confirm with your bank, advisor or a tax professional before acting on it.
How this site is maintained
Each calculator page carries the date it was last updated, and every formula is stated openly on the page so you can verify it yourself against the relevant statute, RBI circular or scheme rulebook.
We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not sell loans, funds or insurance policies. Where we cite a rule, we point to the official source — the Income Tax Department, RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, EPFO, PFRDA or India Post.
